Daidrie Apron

Recently I've met one of the sweetest people ever here in Seattle. She's upbeat, passionate and just an all around awesome person. I was a little late getting her gift to her because I'd never made one before so it took a little time to construct. Once complete it's probably one of my favorite things I've created to date. It's a miniature apron ornament/decoration complete with pocket and beaded hanger also made by me. I'm pretty thrilled with how well it turned out.

Bubbles

Fought off a headache most of the afternoon and cleaned for the first time in a week because of my terrible back issues. While scrubbing down the kitchen sink I was inspired to play with bubbles for today's portrait.

Relaxing Sunday of lunch and shopping with Jon. Spent the evening on our laptops nerding and listening to KEXP. Now, that I've wasted an hour playing with Photoshop it's time to make some dinner :D

Back Pain

Sorry about the delay, haven't been able to stand up for a few days because of a sudden case of extreme back pain. Will hopefully make up for the lost days soon. For now, this is all I can muster up.

Had a boring day of cleaning up the apartment, job searching and a little more crochet craftery. Seattle is rainy again so I stayed in and watch the watery windows all afternoon.

Light Meter Necklace

I found an old light meter from the 50's, Weston DR 854, that was so beyond ever working again I decided to take it apart. While investigating it's insides I decided to make a necklace out of the faceplate. I think it worked out sort of well!
